Even Dr. Raj’s family has started a restuarant in the Gandhinagar area of Bangalore. Dr.Raj was very passionate about it.

Both Dr. Raj and Sachin Birthday is same day, Dr. Raj also disconnected his stuies even Sachin also disconnected his studies, and more ever both they are genious. There is one proverb in Kannada, “Thumbida koda tulukodilla”, this will suits both for Dr. Raj and Sachin.

I Have found other similarity in the Name i.e.,
If we take A=1, B=2, C=3……
Dr Rajkumar = 4+18+18+1+10+11+21+13+1+18 = 115 i.e., 1+1+5= 7
Sachin Tendulkar = 19+1+3+8+9+14+20+5+14+4+21+12+11+1+18= 160 i.e., 1+6+0= 7

Rajkumar was good, very good. If he were more than that, perhaps an international award would have come his way and a street in Chennai would have been named for him.

I don’t see any natural similarities –except that they are both accomplished in their own fields. I really don’t think Sachin has attained the stature Rajkumar has –not yet anyway. These similarities seem contrived –the dreamwork of a true fan.. of Sachin. Can Sachin sing? If he can, and as well as annavru, I am willing to give the benefit of doubt. You see, I do miss Rajkumar and feel a sense of loss that there will be no new Raghavendra Swamy songs from him.

2. There was/is a set of people who thought that both of them should have stopped singing/playing after a certain age.
3. One good thing which Dr RK did (and I am his fan because of this) is to not join politics. (Imagine his sons and HDD’s sons joining hands in looting our state. Now at least we have one less). Not sure what Sachin will do after he retires.

Rajkumar was “given” an honorary doctorate. It wasn’t an “earned” one.

Some differences between RK and Sachin:
RK was Tall - Infact average height
Sachin is short and squat
RK had an excellent diction in Kannada and a good speaker
Sachin can barely speak a few good words a little better than Azzu Bhai though (Whose most quoted thing was ‘Boys did well’, boys did this and that)
and so on
