While their father was loth to ostentatious displays of the family’s gazillions beyond a point, the Brothers Ambani are very happy setting new benchmarks. Mukesh Ambani, whose net worth of Rs 249,000 crore recently made him the world’s richest man, has gifted his wife Nita a custom-built Airbus worth Rs 290 crore on her 44th birthday.
When he turned 50 in April this year, Nita gifted Mukesh a biopic made by Rakeysh Mehra of Rang de Basanti fame with Pandit Jasraj helpfully singing a couple of shlokas in it. Two years ago, she gifted him a Maybach worth a few crores, and next year, Mukesh will gift her a Rs 4,000 crore, 27-storey “house”.
What is the one question you are dying to ask Mukeshbhai? And what is an appropriate gift for Nitaben when she turns 50?

Since both of you have set the bar so high with your public display of wealth, will you give her a full-fledged 20,000 acre SEZ to mark her 50th birthday?

Make that ‘loathe’ to ostentatious displays.

mukesh ambani has earned every penny of his millions unlike cheap indian politicians.
This post shows your attitude – this is simply stupid and innane post

Earned every penny of his millions??? Interesting…
I thought he got it from an uncouth father who bent every rule in the book to fill his bottomless coffers.

mukesh ambani is worlds richest man as of today and he is an Indian, i guess he does not come out in public or go to media to anounce about his gifts to his wife, it is the news thirsty India media which puts these issues to public view and make it seem as if mukesh ambani is bragging about his gifts.
The worst example of a news media is the pro-congress and anti modi news channel run by rajdeep – cnn ibn. Rajdeep got humiliated in hindustan times meet by modi.

Actually didn’t his father worked hand in glove with ‘cheap indian politicians’? Weren’t they bedfellows during the building of the reliance empire?

as long as he pays proper taxes, and registration fees and other dues to the govt, i couldn’t care less. the rest of the country, isn;t where it is for lack of trying or ethical fortitude.
50/50 registrations and hoarding is norm even amongst the intelligencia of Mysore even. i would like to meet the person who does not negotiate wages with their mane kelsad naagamma in an attempt to get max services for least possible expense, or those who dont do bera at the local vegetable vendor. our 10 bucks make 12 bucks, their 100 make 120 but basic behavior remains the same.
according to ACICM, 93% of water meters in Mysore are faulty, and according to atleast one RTI only 50% is metered. is it acceptable? no.

How can any body ask you about your spending of your own hard earned money? This question should be addressed to the Politicians when they spend the Poor mans public funds lavishly. Lalu, Sonia, Mayavathi??!!

It is their personal business, how much money they make and what kinds of gifts they exchange between them. At least, his wife Nita Ambani has done some charity work as well. The international school run by her is supposed to be one of the best. What has our Devegowda done except multiplying his wealth day by day. Ambani’s wealth gets reported in Economic times and all over, no one knows Devegowda’s wealth and his hidden treasures. He owns half of Bangalore.

the rich and the famous need to be sensitive of their uninhibited display of Maybachs and mansions…There is another multitude out there…which they should be aware of

Mukeshbhai, how do you deal with the churumuri and kadalekai types who seem to think they have a right to tell you what kind of house to build and what gift to give your wife?
