Hopefully, two wrongs will make it a right

There are no permanent friends and no permanent enemies, is one of the most cynical formulations of Indian politics. As if to prove the adage, the BJP’s chief minister hopeful, B.S. Yediyurappa, calls on Daivajna K.N. Somayaji at the Shankar Mutt in Bangalore on Wednesday. The vaastu “expert” had come under fire from BJP workers last November after his prediction that Yediyurappa would never become CM fell flat. But clearly Yediyurappa is more forgiving.

  1. Anil Says:

yaa remember somyaji said yeddi has got Devi Ashirvaada. Kannada bhuvaneswari

what this bloody astrologer(money psychiatrist) can do.
bloody maninamaga (Dhoolu) can play with people of karanataka like ravana

remember Ravana is to pray lord shiva as somayaji dose. thats what Mannina maga dose(kshudradevi pooja). mata manthra etc..
followers of Rama will always have problems
    but truth always wins
    yeddi will win

  2. Pulilkeshi the Last Says:

An astrologer can realign the planets to ensure the outcome of his prediction.

  3. Nitin Says:

If Astrology and stuff like this really seem to work, I have this burning desire..

Get hold of a Somayaji and perform poojas, homas or whatever it takes to keep these SMKs, DG & family,Yeddys etc to never win a election and hold any office.

  4. dabbachurmuri Says:

Technically yeddi was not a CM. Vastu guru was right in his earlier prediction

  5. Pulikeshi the Last Says:

Sorry, Nitin. This is Kaliyuga. The scoundrels you mention will get everything they want. That is the fate of any state where seventy percent of the citizens are functionally illiterate. By literacy, I mean the ability to read, the ability to understand the political realities, in short, the ability to think. If we had that ability, none of us would be selling our votes for a seere and a bottle of cheap liquor. Neither would we be attending those brihath sammelanas and crying ourselves hoarse in return for a meal and twenty rupees.

The kind of democracy Gandhi envisioned and Nehru misinterpreted had about forty crore people as its backdrop and certainly not a billion and one.
What does this say about our Mahalanobises and Ashok Mehthas, the great public policy wonks? The BJP wants Hindus to procreate at a faster rate than Muslims and the latter are urged by the Mullahs to do something similar. My suggestion is that we genetically take out whatever pleasure there is in the act of creating children.

  6. kssomeswara Says:

Now the Astrologers have lost their sanctity. They have become cohorts of criminals and money horders in the grab of politicians. It is their money that these people are swallowing and fooling common people. Genuine astrologers gone to oblivion. One profession is tobe banned is that of Astrology / vastu.

  7. Odd-man-out Says:

Yeddi forgiving?! Did the astrologer commit some crime against him?
Yeddi was just ensuring the support of stars, castes , mutts and sundry for the future. Probably he didn’t want to lose the assembly seat itself as happened once earlier, when he was projected as future CM.
Yeah, Yeddi was CM as per the records of the government, if people do not remember please pardon the mass amnesia. :-)

  8. Sakalakala Vallabha Says:

Somayaji was absoultely right about Yeddi not destined to be CM. But Yeddi circumvented it through his pooja in Vaishnavodevi and a chandika homa in Udupi. People without any knowledge of Sacred Jyotish talk as if they know everything. Not even the gods can circumvent Karma.

  9. Pulilkeshi the Last Says:

May be the gods cannot circumvent Karma, God can and should. But he is either retired, took vrs, or has gone on long leave because He is afraid of Santhosh Hegde. Or maybe he just plain is not interested in Karnataka and its kari naataka.

  10. Hosa-Belaku Says:

I came across a phrase in Amar Chitra Katha when I was young and impressionable. Many kings, princesses, devotees etc were always “appeasing the Gods.” Luckily, I never felt a similar need in life. Yeddiyurappa must be facing a totally different situation. I am sure people around him are telling him that only Vaisho and Udupi can’t do the trick. He must be starting out early this time and is gathering “intelligence” on who and where the other Gods are.

  11. Ramachandra Says:

What happend now, Thise astrologers are Knowing no astrology. Now Yedi is suer to be CM. We should stop hearing thiese fellows and papers publishing their predictions should be stopped. I can bet this fellow has no knowledge of Astology at all

  12. Homayaji Says:

Sri Daivagna Somayaji clearly predicted that BJP will be a few short of Majority and Manamiya Yediyyurappa will become the chief Minister. Congragulations Sri Yedyyurappaji for the CMs post. Finally my party BJP has come to power. I want to thank the tantrikas for doing the Bagalamukhi homa to finish of the enemies of BJP.
