“Janata seve, Janardhana seve,” goes the old saying. Meaning, serving the people is like serving god.
In the anticipation of the former, Karnataka’s Family No. 1 is currently steeped in the latter. Former prime minister H.D. Deve Gowda accompanied by his eldest son H.D. Revanna took off from Bangalore for a whirlwind temple tour in Tamil Nadu yesterday.

So whats wrong in going on temple tour, even other politicians like yeddi, anath kumar, daram singh, sadananda, siddaramaih etc. do the same thing, why single out only them they are doing it just openly ,don’t the layman and ordinary people/public do the same thing. Its not like they are benefiting/hiding something by doing pooja or god is granting them special wishes while ignoring rest ,its the bloody Poojari’s/Purohiths who are benefiting from some DAKSHINE /HENJAL KAAS/TIPS.

WW, if you think that pujaris and purohits benefir from these guys it is absolutely wrong. Many times it will be a burden on the temple management and trustees. You look at the Endowment temples. There will be a bar for public when these so-calleed VVIP’s visit. In the name of providing security the public will be harassed. And sometimes they fix the time as 7 am but by the time they arrive it will be midday. Not pointing toward one clan this is the system prevailing with all ploiticians. Everytime a VVIP visis he is to be given raajamaryaada , presented with a beautiful Shawl or sari to their families. Nothing wrong if they visit as devotess but it irritates if they visit during elections/crisis times justifying the saying sankaTabandaaga venkaTaramaNa…..

Don’t know what Deve Gowda is doing in Hindu temples since he likes to be born as a Muslim in his next birth. Why doesn’t he practice going to mosques and durgas to prepare for his next life.

If deve gowda wants to be born as a muslim in his next birth, then the whole of islam is wrong as they don’t bleive in reincarnation.
