I am surprised that such public places still exist in the overcrowded, polluted and traffic clogged city of Bangalore. The biggest question is till how long will such beautiful public places last before it is taken over by private resorts. And then the lovers have to pay a fee to experience the roses and the violets.

During the 50′s and 60′s the Kantharajaurs road (about 1km) in Mysore would be like this in the morning with flowers of various colours spread over the foot path. I remember Lakshmanrao would go on the horse back along this road.

How does the author know the young couple are walking barefoot. It looks like they are wearing some footwear and also quite likely. Notwithstanding the Author’s romatic imagination about ‘barefoot in the park’ this is a great photograph.

  12. Sam Says:

Ram, It is taken from 50 metres using Zoom. The bigger question is: Are they barefoot?!

  13. dharma Says:

Here the concept is the beauty of the surrounding and not as to whether the couple is wearing a foot wear or are they wearing any under garment!!
