I think Joshi should have refused to accept the award from a no name bureaucrat. My suspicion is that his health is so bad that he perhaps does not even know that the folks in New Delhi have belatedly conferred this award on a man who has had no equal in Hindustani music in the last sixty years. His family should have been more solicitous of the singer’s honor.
kannadigarenu kadime alla. Three years ago Dharam Singh went to Gangubai’s house and took exactly five minutes in her presence while delivering to her Kannadarathna or some such award. Only Ramakrishna Heggade and J. H. Patel seem to be the only chief ministers we have had who knew a thing or two about culture.

Pandith ji has brought an honor to the award. pulikeshi avere let the bureaucrat stay away from these and be busy with dirty politics let they not touch this pure heart man (alla incarnation of music).
Itz more bliss to remember his allap, bada byall, raag vistar, boll allap, tan, boll tan and dhruth of every raaga.
he is saraswathy’s unmatchable selection. we shall pray to god to give him LONG HEALTHY LIFE.

As National anthem is sung in all schools in weekdays similarly Panditji who has sung “Bhagyda Laxmi Baramma” song will be sung by all ladies in thier homes in the evening time in all days of a week in Karnataka…
