Thirty-one years ago, when he was eight, his grandmother was standing from coffeeland in a landmark election after she had been defeated in Rae Bareli. In 2009, Congress workers go around in masks of the man who doesn’t want to be prime minister (yet) in a door-to-door campaign in Chikamagalur on Saturday.

    Yes, in 1950′s jodettu was the cong symbol. Now it has been reduced to a single one. Then agriculture and farmers were their prime targets. Now they have converted everybody into cattle and since they can always make them carry their load though masked it conveys best the intentions of the Congress party. People of Chikkamagalur are fit be driven by these people, with no malafide intentions.
