With temples, mosques, churches, even a fire temple, all happily jostling each other, Shivajinagar in Bangalore is India, as our founding fathers would have liked it, in a microcosm. On Tuesday, the car festival of St Mary at at St Mary’s Basilica near Russell Market attracted thousands.

Good photograph. All colorful and lot of saffron, good going! We are changing and accepting saffron!

Ofcourse, it attracted thousands regardless of swine-flu menace, but became troublesome for hundreds X hundreds… while the traffic flow obstructed in the surrounding area. Needless to say, in these days slow moving traffic, jam, smoke-dust are common for Bangaloreans whether it’s the Namma Metro work, flyover construction, road widening, BBMP or BWSSB patch up work.. Nevertheless Good photograph!
