What’s so hilarious about one putting “Gowdas” picture on their vehicle windows?
Question
1) Is one group or caste pridly claiming of their identity, a joke to other groups?
2) Someone here compares gowda’s to sikhs. – No wonder punjab is the richest state of india and gowdas have occupied the top most post in every department of karnataka.
3) I wish churmuri should behave responsibly before targeting a one particular caste which is not warranted.
PS: I am a gowda who has pride in its identity and i believe such post instigating caste fights should be avoided.

Relax. You clearly missed the humor in the post. “Gowda” here refers to our former PM. I am sure the author had no intentions of generalizations.

“BHEL PURI” came up in Delhi some time in 1980, when the Chairman of BHEL Corporate was one Mr.KL Puri, and this was a telawala in Parliament street. BHEL objected to this terminology being used, but this name spread in Delhi and other places like wild fire!

I have seen latest news reports of so many schemes in the names of Jawaharlal Nehru, Indira Gandhi and Rajiv Gandhi across the country and for a mighty man of DG’s capacity, naming a paying just a local GH after him is simply nonsense!! I just cannot bear with the kind of insult that our former farmer PM is facing… anyone to help please? Dentist Ramesh – are you listening??
