Barely six months after bouncing off the runway, the BJP government of B.S. Yediyurappa has run into an air pocket once again, thanks to the peevish shenanigans of the Reddy brothers over flood relief in the northern part of the State, and other subsidiary factors like Shobha Karandlaje getting too much bhaav.
Will there be a compromise? Will Yedi see this crisis through? Or…

The recent display within the Karnataka unit of the party can only be called “amazing”.
ONLY the BJP, given their current organizational disarray, could have taken a high-priority task like relief work for the flood disaster (Karnataka-Andhra Pradesh floods) and converted into an internal political crisis.
As if the humiliation of Lok Sabha polls, their bruising in Maharashtra, and the succession circus in Delhi were inadequate – they had to shift the spotlight to internal politics in Karnataka.
Whether Yeddi survives or not, whether the Reddy brothers are able to take their avarice to new heights or not is irrelevant. With so many people displaced – these guys are out power-mongering?!!

There is a lot of hatred against the Reddy Bros and Sreeramulu. I hold no brief for them but based on the facts in public domain they have come up the hard way .Right now they have lots of money power and their readyness to contribute to building many thousand houses for the poor has to be appreciated.They dont need to loot the PUBLIC treasury to STAY ALIVE.
The professional Politicians like the Yeddy’s , his SONS, his CONCUBINE , Ashok and Naidu are no SAINTS and have LOOTED with many benami transactions.
So if YEDDY is adopting double standards and wants to KEEP his Mistress and chamchas in the cabinet HE WILL not survive beyond APRIL FOOLS DAY. He is not going to be missed by the PARTY. His frequent meetings with PRIESTS ASTROLOGERS SWAMIJI”S and TEMPLE visits will lead to his downfall.
Iam sure he is heeding to some DUMB astrologer even today and trying to do poojas to rectify the problem.

Reddy brothers, who are migrants from Andhra, have become rich only by looting karnataka soil, mostly by illegal permits and illegal mining.
In politics no body is saint. What yeddi is doing, every politician will do the same.
I feel Yeddi has taught Reddys a good lesson.
Yeddi has decided that either he will be the CM or no body will be the CM from BJP ( A kind of suicide bomb)
He has support of around 30 MLA’s. Only 10 TO 15 MLA’s are sufficient for him to prevent anybody else from becoming the CM.
I dont think any of existing MLA’s want a election at this time.
So there is not Option for Reddys to stay with yeddi or loose the govt.
Bad days of Reddy brothers have started. Now they have no power in Andhra. Jagan becoming CM is becoming a distant dream day by day.
All the gimmiks played by JAGAN is not working. He paid money to hold public rallys and demonstrations to pressurise the high command.
But sonia gandhi took the right decision to keep him away from power.
Now reddys dont have power in karnataka as well as in Andhra.
I guess for the first time, ( after 150cr issue )Reddys have been trounced and Yeddi has taught them a good lesson.
Yeddi has nothing to loose. If he is not in power, he need not have to worry abt BJP. Any how BJP is a Sinking boat. He has enjoyed power for 1.5 years, so nothing much he will loose.
The big loosers will be Reddys.

Reddy Bros may end up as the ultimate losers in this current ‘test’ that’s being played. As Sunil has said, they seem to have lost the plot (no pun intended:)) in AP as well as Karnataka. Bad times indeed – especially after trying to bribe Lord Venkateshwara to the tune of around 50+ crores. I am happy that Timmappa has shown better taste.
But the curious case is about what Yeddy and Co. were smoking when Reddy company poured all that money and muscle power during assembly elections to win quite a few seats? Were they really naive to think that once the party comes to power the Reddy company turns lily white and Bros would behave like good boys? Didn’t they see it coming?

If Yediyurappa survives the crisis, he will own Karnataka as long as he has a mind. What a terrible prospect!
If he loses, we will be mortgaged to a rich, amoral family for a long time to come. What a terrible prospect!
If the Congress or JDS (or both at the same time) comes to power, the moral miasma of such an outcome will be beyond repair. What a terrible prospect!
Are we the only state in the union to be in a pitiable situation like this one?

What an irony. Today it has come true.

The operation Kamala launched by the BJP with the full force monetry support of cash surplus mining lobby headed by Reddy Brothers and company has turned out to be a Frank Einstein for the Karnataka Chief Minister Mr B S Yediyurappa pushing him to an intricate political situation where in his goverment is rocking like a ship in the storm.
Just like Frank Einstein who had the ability to obtain information about an individual, sense the emotions of others and the ability to perceive the future, the Reddy brothers through their money power have been able to create a wedge in the BJP in Karnataka.
There seems to be a long term strategy on the part of Reddy brothers who have cleverly hatched a plan to take control of the Karnataka Government and had helped Yediyurappa to wean away the fense sitting legislators and saw that the first ever BJP government in the south would continue to rule with a comfortable majority.
While Yediyurappa is intensively touring the flood affected areas and taking steps to provide the solace to the people day in and day out, dozens of legislators,like Nero , continue to engross in fiddling unmindful of the fact that Rome was burning.The legislators are whiling away their time at resorts in Goa and Hyderabad without caring about the flood affected people in their respective constituencies.
The Karnataka Governor is reported to have conveyed to the Centre about the prevailing political instability in Karnataka as the administration has been seriously affected due to the infight between the warring groups in the ruling BJP in the state.
Utter failure of Karnataka Intelligence is the root cause of the political instability in Karnataka. Few months back when news papers reported that the Tourism Minister and Mining lord Janardhana Readdy was poised to become the Chief Minister, it was taken in ligter vein by the BJP and the Intelligence. They did not care to take the cue and probe into the activities and cross check the report.
Janardhana Reddy , tourism minister and his elder brother and Revenue Minister G. Karunakara Reddy along with the healh minister B Sriramulu are leading the revolt against Yeddyurappa accusing him of dictatorial functioning and attempts to sideline them in party and administrative affairs.
Even the efforts made by the National BJP high command headed by party stalwarts like L K Advani, Anantha Kumar and Sushma Swaraj were not able to solve the issue as the Reddy brothers who claim to have a support of nearly 50 MLA’s are not budging from their path of demanding the change in leadership, while the high command has refused their demand. If this group demands a separate seat in the Assembly,then there would be a scope for the opposition to demand for checking the majority of the BJP government on the floor of the Assembly.
Vested interests joining hands with the mining lobby have been burning the midnight oil to dismantle the Yediyurappa government even though it has been elected by the people, for the people and of the people.
If this continued, the people of Karnataka will not re-elect the legislators who are trying to dislodge the BJP goverment in Karnataka, if elections are declared by the Union Government keeping in view the unstability in the state.
