I have known a case where a father-daughter pair sat for their X board together :)

This is nice to know. Many of the candidates who attempt SSLC at a late age do so for the sake of achievement or to fulfill a job criterion. The authorities should make it easier for such candidates to appear and pass this examination.

Admirable. Life is one long quest of learning. We can only consider ourselves tired/retired, only when we stop learning.

We are a culture that always respected education. The only problem is the education barrier kept either chasing or raising from time to time. In the ancient times it was Vedas/Upanshads. It was Persian during Mughal era. Later it was SSLC /FA/BA during British days. Now it is BTech/MBA. But unfortunately a School Certificate does not give one any standing in present society. Never the less I respect this gentleman for still holding the SSLC diploma dear to his heart and for toiling for it

This pic truely depicts our cultural diversity. India is destined to rule the next decade purely on the basis of two important points:
a) 25% of the worlds under 25 age group reside in India
b) India has an inbuilt secular fabric which hasn’t been disturbed inspite of
the right wing.
