‘A party of loafers, thieves, liars, land-grabbers’

On the eve of a comical cabinet reshuffle that has seen partymen and independents walking completely out of step—one gentleman threatening to commit suicide if dropped, another counting his chickens before they are hatched,  a third forever waiting, etc—Karnataka chief minister B.S. Yediyurappa steps out of the Vidhana Soudha in sync with ministerial colleague Lakshman Savadi, in Bangalore on Tuesday.

“Only ‘lafangeys’ (loafers), thieves, liars and land grabbers have a place in this party and not honest workers,” a four-time BJP legislator from Mysore, H.S. Shankaralinge Gowda, said after Yediyurappa told him he was helpless and could not make him a minister.

didn’t he realize this all these years? Having said that, all the parties are the same except Loksatta party. Different parties are just the same wine in different bottles.

The JDS troglodytes outdid the Congress vipers; Now the BJP has gone several steps beyond the JDS. As long as Kannadigas remain uneducated jaathi worshippers, we can expect no better.

Tax the mathas. Keep the politicians in isolation for a few months.

he has every right to be disappointed. when people (as he has described) like somanna, udasi, katti, sudhakar, ramachandra(now gone)….too many more are in the cabinet…

  5. Kitapati Says:

Agree with Shankarline gowda that it is a party of loafers and lafangas. But what if Yeddy had given the minsterial berth to him. Would he be saying the same.

  6. namma mysooru Says:

Shankaralinge gowda should have been given chance. He has been with BJP Mysore from past many years. Also CT Ravi from Chikmagalur who should have been given chance.

yediyurappa is now paying the price for ignoring LOYAL BJP mla’s and giving preference to those who are in close proximity , like SHOBHA , SOMANNA etc.
