During his recent whistle-stop tour of Kerala, Rahul Gandhi jumped out of his security cocoon and clambered on top of a police vehicle. But it is not just the Congress vice-president who feels compelled to do these “mass” numbers on the eve of an election.

Exhibit A is former Union minister H.N. Ananth Kumar of the BJP and Exhibit B is the former chief minister H.D. Kumaraswamy of the Janata Dal (Secular). The former taking part in an event to promote use of bicycles in Bangalore; the latter flagging off a party rally.

  3. dr ramesh Says:

Not my favorite exactly, but HDK ‘s photo looks natural not theatrical. HDK is also wearing a helmet demonstrating the importance of staying legal.
HDK ‘s statement on dubbing inclined in favour of it, I did not like it, felt disappointed. Hope he gets facts right and changes his opinion.

  4. Amith Says:

HDK looks more like a goon in this. No offence meant to him. At least Ananth has the sense to do a gimmick, which is eco friendly in nature.

    Dr Ramesh,
Your leader could have worn a helmet and his private affairs would have remained legal as well!

Your leaders are so fertile that they spit saliva, their followers arise. They have special squad for snooping.
Baa baaro rasika, nodenna ee thaluka, Mai pulaka….

HDK some years ago was MLA & contested for MP (by-election) & won after he resigned his MLA seat & continued as MP. Just 8 months ago he again contested for MLA (2013 state election) seat & won then resigned for MP seat. Now he is again contesting for MP seat (2014 national election).

is he aiming for some record?

  11. Shemej Says:

Well said Nastika. I had some respect for Kumaraswamy’s Grama vastavya, as he was ready to take food from poor families irrespective of caste, and more importantly stayed with Aids patients. But now a days, when I hear news about him, I feel like vomiting.

May be, I have some serious problem with me…..
